I'm a planner at heart and will share with you as many resources as I have to help you plan your day to perfection. But planning is just one part of your of your day. Embrace and celebrate in the beauty of marrying the love of your life and I will take care of the rest as a professional and seasoned photographer. I've got your back, I want the best for you. If timeless and candid imagery is a priority for your photography loving soul, then I promise, we will be fast friends and a perfect fit!
My photography is for those that aren't shy to take a few pictures in the rain and embrace the wind in their hair. You're in love and you're best friends and want to enjoy the ordinary and extraordinary moments of life hand in hand. I go out of my way to capture the quiet sentimental tears you might shed with dear friends, but also the loud room bursting with laughter from your best man's toast. You are someone that values meaningful relationships and you want the day to be as much a celebration with dear friends as it is an intimate moment of promise of love.
I was born in Utah, raised in New Mexico but now call Texas home. I have been shooting weddings since 2012 and have been there to celebrate with over 150 couples on their wedding day. I left my day job as a medical technologist to be a full time photographer and I have been all in ever since.
My Dad unexpectedly passed away early in 2016. My family misses him terribly. We flipped through old photos of our family in those days and weeks after his passing, reliving the moments and memories we had with him. These pictures mean the world to me and I cherish them more than anything else I own. I have truly experienced over and over again how valuable photography is and how crucial it is to invest in life's beautiful moments.
I am pretty sure every photographer has a favorite wedding day detail. Mine just happens to be the sparkle that sits on your left hand finger. They are unique, personal and always come with a good proposal story.
Trevor and I took off a few months from life to go back pack Europe. We traveled from Sweden to Spain and a lot in-between. Picking a favorite location is like picking a favorite flavor of gelato. It's just not possible.
They happen in passing. They are not posed, they are not planned. A stolen glance or hands brushing together. These are the best moments to capture and the reason I rarely set my camera down on your wedding day.
