Our wedding day was COLD! Utah…. in December…. what can you expect?! I had been stressing all month long that there would be a snow storm or that the roads wold be bad for our guests to travel. That was a risk of choosing December for our wedding date!  Fortunately, we woke up and the roads were snow free, and the weather said we would be blizzard free!

Our wedding day flew by so fast and I wish I could have stopped time for just a moment. Saying it was a fun day would be a serious understatement.

During our engagement, Trevor was working full time, I was in my last semester of school, we were long distance and flying back and forth between San Francisco and Salt Lake  to see each other and do some essential wedding planning together! Our wedding day was long awaited! It was a fantastic reunion of friends and family, and a truly FUN day!

I knew I wanted a Formal session, but at the time we got married, I didn’t even think about doing a “first look”, but I wish I would have!!!  I remember the time time Trevor saw me in my dress, it was the moment everything became REAL! The excitement was kicked up a few notches! To have those memories in pictures would have been wonderful! Enjoy some of those moments from our Formal session and Wedding day!

A few fun facts about our wedding day:

– It was 20 degrees on our wedding!
People tell me it was FREEZING! But I think the adrenaline rush of being a bride and celebrating with friends and family took my mind off it completely!

– Trevor picked me up for our ceremony.
Not traditional, but it fun to see him before the ceremony and my pre-wedding gitters melted once I saw him.

-Daniel (Trevors Brother) ALMOST didn’t make it!
He was going to school in Hawaii, and after a missed flight, we weren’t sure if the next flight would get him there in time. He was late, but made it for the pictures!  (Thank you Polly Wood for picking him up at the airport as our ceremony finished!)

I ADORE this picture of me and my little brother Steven. It is perfect.

Dianne Holgate, for traveling all the way to Utah, to make a gorgeous cake AND finish it off in my Grandparents kitchen! You are amazing!

Bond Florals for helping me pick the perfect flowers that were available in the dead of winter!

Sweet Pea Catering for not only providing all our food, but helping with our decoré! I had so much help and I could take all that I could get!

Something Vintage Something Blue for the fantastic 1937 Buick.

AND our beautiful venue for working with us to make the day perfect. I love Wadley Farms and get to excited every time I shoot there! All those summer brides, you can’t beat their beautiful grounds and all my winter brides, they keep the place warm and cozy for you!
