Do I get nervous before a session. Yes. There is something about meeting a new couple that puts excitement butterflies in my stomach. But this session with Amy and Logan was unlike any other session and the butterflies were in full flight all day!

I have been working on a few new branding projects lately! I don’t want to give away too many surprises, but I have spent a lot of time creating a wedding magazine to give to each of my new brides, new packaging and a promotional video explaining a bit about the wedding experience with Breanna McKendrick Photography.  Yes, you read that right. For the first time in a long while, I was on the other side of the camera, and my nerves were all over the place!

Amy and Logan were one of our beautiful couples that helped out with my promotional video project. They were champions as they saw the behind the scenes of Breanna McKendrick Photography. Amy and Logan are a real couple, really in love, and getting married in May. I got to take their pictures as I was being filmed for my promotional video.

Also, I feel like Amy and I should have been friends long before this get together! Turns out she is cousins with my best friends husband, and is a sister-in-law to one of Trevor’s college friend. (Sounds confusing.  Feel free to draw it out on a napkin if it helps).

Amy and Logan got to see a side of me that not many brides and grooms see. I am usually very composed when I shoot, but never have I been filmed while shooting. I became so self aware and wondered if I sounded like a baboon with all of my “oooo, Gorgeous! Love this!” comments and noises.  But with a couple like this, in such great light, how could I not be excited?

Don’t you fret. I will be sure to post when the promotional video is done AND some of my new packaging and branding projects!  So stay tuned guys. You won’t want to miss this. And to Amy and Logan, I am so glad you were able to come and help with the video project! I hope you like the images we got of you two in this unique session! Congrats on your upcoming wedding.
